Hello teachers!

I'm delighted to be presenting at TOCI and welcome you to Virginia Beach City Public Schools. I come to you with twenty years’ experience teaching art on the elementary and middle school levels. I'm currently enjoying my new position as Instructional Specialist which satisfies my interest in guiding, teaching and mentoring new teachers. Our Visual Arts Department is renowned with spectacular teachers. I look forward to working with you and keep that momentum. As effective teachers, it’s important that we continually grow, be well-informed of latest developments, skills, strategies and remain motivated. As we enter this school year I wish everyone the best and look forward to visiting your classrooms and seeing the great things you have planned.
